Bonnie is a student at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, working toward her M.Div. degree and ultimate ordination as an Elder in the United Methodist Church. She was recently called to Pastor a two church charge near our home in Harford County. The Deer Creek charge consists of Deer Creek United Methodist Church in Forest Hill and Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church just north of Hickory. She officially began on January 1, 2010. You can learn more about the churches HERE.

This is the Deer Creek marquee and the parsonage just across the street.

For her entire life (starting with Kindergarten) we would take a couple of photos in front of a tree in the front of the house for her first day of school. We continued this tradition the day she went away to college, and the day she started seminary. Despite her protests, we did it again the morning before she gave her first sermon. As the outside temperature was 17 degrees (wind chill of 0, we took a couple of photos inside as well.
