We went to New York in early October. Believe it or not, we camp in downtown Jersey City, NJ in a campground on the waterfront within sight of the Statue of Liberty and within walking distance of the PATH train. From coach to midtown Manhattan, including the walk is about 20 minutes. Here are some photos of Times Square at night. While we were there we saw that someone was shooting a big video in Times Square. We stayed to watch. We didn't know that we would be in the video.
