The largest snowfall since 2003, and the largest ever recorded December snowfall for these parts started Friday night December 18 and all day (up to midnight) December 19. The total accumulation according to the National Weather Service was 20 1/2". We stayed in for the most part, kept a fire in the fireplace, and watched a bunch of Christmas movies: White Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and A Charlie Brown Christmas. Only Dad wanted to watch Bad Santa, so we didn't watch that. Bummer.
